Hands-on STEM Program at Beacon Park School

We are so excited to announce that with your generosity and support, we are continuing to offer the popular hands-on STEM program to our 1st-5th graders!

PTA sponsored STEM Lab is a program designed to give each student an opportunity to explore the exciting world of STEM through direct hands-on projects and activities. 1st-5th graders meet once every 3-4 weeks and work in small groups to learn various topics chosen in collaboration with our teachers through fun and engaging lessons. Each lesson is lead by staff from Discovering Science.

💡 GET INVOLVED!

Parent volunteers are essential to the success of this program. No science background is needed—just a willingness to help! Volunteers will help with set-up, assist students in keeping up with the tasks, supervise students during the lessons and help clean-up after the class is over.
