ACADEMIC PENTATHLON
Academic Pentathlon is a competition for 6th, 7th, 8th grade students that covers 5 topics: Science, Literature, Social Science, Math and Fine Arts.
Each week, the students will meet with a coach to cover the materials and prepare for regional competitions, and possibly move up to state and national levels, similar to sports competitions. Teams need equal number of students in a range of GPAs and we need students with lower GPAs (3.80-3.84 and below 3.29) to start a team at Beacon Park.
Academic Pentathlon is a great way to prepare for Academic Decathlon in high school which helps with college readiness, real world preparation and demonstrates your intellectual stamina and love of learning to colleges.
